Bob Elbrader serves as Executive Vice President of Brightline Dealer Advisors, where he leads the Midwest region and helps automotive dealers improve performance across F&I, reinsurance, and variable operations.
With more than 35 years of experience spanning retail automotive, insurance, technology, and executive leadership, Bob brings a practical, dealer-focused perspective shaped by leadership roles in finance, sales, training, and operations. Since joining Brightline in 2017, he has played an instrumental role in expanding the company’s market presence, developing high-performing teams, and delivering strategies that create measurable, sustainable results for dealer partners.
Before joining Brightline, Bob held leadership positions with McCarthy Automotive Group, Berkshire Hathaway Automotive, Van Tuyl Group, and Universal Underwriters. He was also a partner and general manager of Intravision Technologies, an automotive compliance and training technology company he helped build from the ground up. Following the company’s acquisition by ADP Dealer Services, Bob remained with ADP as Director of Operations.
Throughout his career, Bob has focused on helping dealers strengthen profitability, develop their people, improve operational discipline, manage risk, and build sustainable long-term enterprise value.
Bob is based in Kansas City.
